This article explains in detail how Subtitle Translation Wizard works.

1. Load Original One

The first step of using Subtitle Translation Wizard is load the original subtitle file.

2. Start Subtitle Translation

By clicking the list box "Translate from" to choose your language(from original language to translated language), then click the "Start Translate" button to automatically translate your subtitle.

When the automatically translation is done, you can directly edit the translated subtitle by double click the row of translated subtitle.

At same time, you can play your movie to check the translated subtitle and check the timeline of your subtitle. If the subtitle has problem of timeline, then you can fix it by the tool.

When all of your work is done, you can just click the "Save" button on gui, you will see the list:

"Save Original Subtitle" means save your original subtitle file; "Save Translated Subtitle" means save the translated subtitle to disk; "Save Mix Subtitle" means save mix subtitle that include both original and translated subtitle; "Save Original Text" means extract just subtitle text from the original subtitle and save to disk; "Save Translated Text" means just save the translated subtitle text to disk; "Save Mix Text" means save both texts include original subtitle text and translated subtitle text.

3. Load Translated Subtitle

You can click the button "Load Translated" on gui to load a subtitle that is not translated totally to continue to do your translation job. Or you can load a totally translated subtitle to do subtitle merging.

Those steps are basic steps to use Subtitle Translation Wizard.

4. Change CharSet

You can click the button "Change Original CharSet" or "Change Translated CharSet" to change charset of original or translated subtitle if they can be shown normally.

5. Add Sentence into Dictionary(Switch to Dictionary Tab)

When you select a row of subtitle, you can see the original and translated subtitle have already been shown in the panel of dictionary bar. You can click the button "Add to Dictionary" to add the mapping sentences into dictionary.

6. Study Dictionary

Click button "Study Dictionary" on gui, You will see a tiny window and circulate display vocabulary or sentence.

You can click your mouse right-button on the blue sector, then Mini Study will exit.

7. Convert File Code Schema(Switch to Tools Tab)

You can convert a file's code schema from one schema to another schema by click button .
